Optimization of Social Media as a Digital Marketing Strategy: Implications for Tourist Interest
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study investigates the optimization of social media as a digital marketing strategy to enhance tourist interest, focusing on the "Den Bagus" food court in Trenggalek, Indonesia. Employing a qualitative case study approach, the research highlights the effectiveness of platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook in increasing visibility, engagement, and conversions. The findings reveal that visual content, interactive communication, and digital innovations—such as SEO and live event promotions are key drivers in attracting tourists. This study offers practical insights for small-scale tourism destinations seeking to improve their digital marketing strategies. However, it acknowledges limitations, including the focus on a single case study and the absence of direct tourist feedback. Future research should incorporate multiple case studies and direct input from tourists to expand these findings.
