Introduction: This paper examines the transformation of Islamic financial technology (fintech) through the lens of Maqashid al-Shariah as a framework for ethical and inclusive digital finance. With the rapid rise of Industry 5.0 and the restructuring of global supply chains, there is growing urgency for Islamic finance to adapt while preserving its ethical foundations. The study highlights the relevance of Islamic fintech in addressing financial exclusion, particularly in underserved communities, while aligning with Islamic values such as justice, transparency, and social welfare. Research Methods: This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach using a literature review method. Data is gathered from scholarly journals, institutional reports (Bank Indonesia, OJK, KNEKS), and recent publications within the last five years. Thematic analysis is used to explore the intersection of digital innovation, Islamic jurisprudence, and financial inclusion strategies in the context of Industry 5.0. Finding/Results: The findings indicate that Islamic fintech contributes meaningfully to financial inclusion through Shariah-compliant services such as peer-to-peer lending, digital zakat and waqf platforms, and ethical investments. Emerging technologies like blockchain and AI enhance transparency and operational efficiency. However, challenges remain in regulatory alignment, digital infrastructure, and human capital development. Conclusion: This paper concludes that integrating Maqashid al-Shariah into Islamic fintech offers a sustainable and ethical model for financial innovation. It recommends a collaborative ecosystem involving regulators, fintech developers, and Shariah scholars to ensure that Islamic fintech can support inclusive growth and ethical global economic systems.
