Abstrak

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the world of education has transformed pedagogical practices, but at the same time raises complex ethical dilemmas, including algorithmic bias, vulnerability to data privacy, and threats to academic integrity. In the context of Islamic education, these challenges are very crucial because Islamic education prioritizes the formation of morals and spiritual development rather than just the acquisition of cognitive abilities. This literature research with a qualitative approach examines the role of Ethical Artificial Intelligence in Islamic education and teacher training through the perspective of Maqāṣid al-Syarī'ah, focusing on the reconstruction of humanistic pedagogy in the era of intelligent technology. Data sourced from reputable scientific journals, academic books, and contemporary literature on Maqāṣid al-Syarī'ah were analyzed using critical-interpretive content analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the framework of Ethical Artificial Intelligence in Islamic education should be based on the maintenance of reason (ḥifẓ al-'aql), the maintenance of religion (ḥifẓ al-dīn), and the maintenance of human dignity (ḥifẓ al-'irḍ). In this framework, AI functions to increase pedagogical effectiveness without ignoring the active role of human agency and spiritual orientation. Therefore, teacher training needs to transform towards strengthening ethical AI literacy by integrating values-based pedagogical competencies. This study concludes that AI integration must be directed by human-centered policies so that technological progress remains in line with Islamic educational values.
