METODE BERMAIN PERAN (ROLE PLAYING) UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN ASPEK SOSIAL EMOSIONAL PADA ANAK

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether the role playing method can improve children's social and emotional development. This research uses library research. Library research is research carried out in libraries where research objects are usually explored through various types of library information (books, encyclopedias, scientific journals, newspapers, magazines and documents). Data sources in library research are primary sources and secondary sources. The data collection technique is a documentary technique. The analysis techniques used are deductive, descriptive methods and document analysis. The results of the research are that role playing can improve aspects of development in children, one of which is the aspect of children's social emotional development, as evidenced by children liking to help friends and adults, children being willing to share with others, children getting used to being friendly, children getting used to respecting their elders, children listen and pay attention when their friends talk, children are able to differentiate between right and wrong actions, are able to take responsibility, children are able to cooperate, children are able to recognize their own feelings and manage them appropriately, and children are able to show empathy
