PENTINGNYA PERAN ORANG TUA DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER AKHLAK ISLAMI PADA ANAK USIA DINI

Abstract

Parents have a very important role in forming Islamic moral character in early childhood (AUD). They are the main and first educators for children, and education in the family is an important factor in shaping a child's character. They have the responsibility to provide good religious knowledge, provide broad insight, have a leadership spirit, provide a sense of love, and be a good example for children. In Islam, the first education given by Muslims is family education. Parents can shape children's character by providing examples of behavior, implementing an early education system, implementing a habituation system, fostering dialogue with children, and applying the principles of justice in managing available time. In addition, they are also responsible for providing behavior that shows warmth, effectiveness, care, comfort, attention, concern, support and love. Thus, the role of parents needs to increase awareness of the importance of instilling Islamic moral character in children from an early age.
