HAKIKAT PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DALAM PERSPEKTIF IBNU SINA

Abstract

Education is an important part of human life. Islamic education is an educational model that is ideally applied in today's worldly and ukhrawi oriented times. The essence of Islamic education promoted by scientists such as Ibnu Sina is very relevant in providing in-depth views to overcome contemporary problems faced by the Islamic education system today. The essence of education involves two fundamental elements, process and people. Processes related to efforts to recognize, grow and develop human potential. In other words, the educational process is a process of awareness, discovery of self-identity (potential) and actualization. The research method is a literature review with a qualitative approach that presents descriptive data from various sources such as books and journal articles that discuss Ibn Sina and his concept of thought about the nature of Islamic education.
