METROPILITAN: Media of Solar System Revolution and Eclipse Process through Website Link as Science Learning Digitization Innovation
Abstract
In the current era of digitalization, innovation is needed to create a learning
atmosphere that is effective, interesting, and easy for students to understand.
In solar system material, a solutive, adaptive website technology-based
learning media is needed to facilitate student understanding. The presence of
a METROPOLITAN innovation with the uniqueness that there is a
combination of media and technology in the form of a website barcode, so
that METROPOLITAN can be applied to the eighth grade learning process
of technology-based solar system material. This research method uses
research and development (RnD) with ADDIE design (analysis, design,
development, implementation, and evaluation). The percentage of test
results of three validators from teachers shows 83% METROPOLITAN is
feasible to use in the learning process of solar system material. In addition,
this media is also effective in improving students' understanding of the
concept of the solar system, the revolution of the earth, the moon, and also
the process of solar and lunar eclipses. This media is an
interesting/interactive alternative for teachers to facilitate the delivery of
solar system material. The implications of the research results can contribute
to the development of technology-based teaching media that can improve
the quality of learning in Indonesia.
