Abstract

Global digitization encourages the education system to produce quality human resources through a learning process that is integrated with technology, namely learning media. FOSIL learning media is present to help improve students' understanding of natural disasters and their mitigation by combining the concepts of religion, physics, chemistry and biology and linking with 3D plotagon animation. The purpose of this research is to describe the feasibility of the developed FOSIL learning media. This research method is development research (R&D), using the ADDIE design model with stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection method is by requesting validation from 3 validators based on stratified random sampling. The validation results were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques by determining the average value of feasibility based on the assessment indicators of the 3 validators and developed into a description. Based on the data analysis of the validation results, the average percentage of feasibility is 82%, so FOSIL is feasible to use in learning about flood disasters and their mitigation. FOSIL has the potential to improve the quality of learning, especially in terms of understanding the concepts and skills of students and can be a reference for developing more effective learning models
