Analysis of the Level of Knowledge of Renewable Energy and Energy-Efficient Behavior Among Students at SMP 1 Ma'arif 1 Ponorogo

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of students' knowledge about renewable energy and energy-saving behavior at Ma'arif 1 Ponorogo Junior High School.  This study was conducted using a quantitative descriptive method with a total of 70 students as respondents.  Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire containing two variables, namely knowledge about renewable energy and energy-saving behavior. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistical analysis.  The results of the study showed that the average knowledge of renewable energy among students was 70.97 in the good category, and the average energy-saving behavior among students was 68.34 in the good category.  Overall, the results of this study indicate that students' knowledge of renewable energy supports the formation of energy-saving behavior among students.
